Rebecca & Michael’s December Wedding was absolutely perfect! You could feel the love in the room as they celebrated their union surrounded by all of their favorite people! Rebecca & Michael tied the knot at San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church surrounded by the love of their family and friends. San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church was a beautiful backdrop for their Ceremony with a Spanish inspired exterior and ornate yet classic interior, and Nikki Golden Photography beautifully captured Becca & Michael's Wedding Day with her signature fine art approach!
Becca booked Kelsi Elizabeth Events for planning shortly after her and Michael got engaged, which allowed us to work closely together throughout the planning process to ensure that every decision aligned with Becca and Michael's priorities, style and budget. Becca envisioned a classic Wedding that was brimmed with timeless dusty blue and ivory details. The color palette was carried throughout the design, starting with dusty blue bridesmaid dresses and bowties for the groomsmen.
The couple decided to stick to their traditional roots and opt out of doing a first look so while the guests made their way to the Cocktail Hour at Nocatee Crosswater Hall, Becca and Michael stayed behind for Nikki Golden Photography to capture their newlywed photos during golden hour on the church grounds which is on the St. John's River.
Becca & Michael's Cocktail Hour and Reception followed at Nocatee Crosswater Hall, which was a beautiful backdrop for their celebration. The Cocktail Hour kicked off in the courtyard surrounded by sweeping palms and ivy walls that were made complete with an open bar and games of corn hole.
There is a lot that goes into planning a Wedding, and it’s important to instill the help of the right people in order to bring your vision to life. Becca and I spoke frequently about the overall design in the early stages of planning as she planned to collect and bring in a lot of her own decor and looked for guidance when selecting her vendors. Over the course of their engagement, Becca collected a plethora of decor from linens, to chargers, to hundreds of candles and thoughtful details. Together we picked out linens from my preferred vendor BBJ La Tavola to add to her own, we discussed different design ideas and ways to cut costs, and we finalized all of the nitty gritty day-of logistics that they had between their Ceremony at San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church to their Reception at Nocatee Crosswater Hall in order to ensure that the whole day ran smoothly from start to finish - and that it did! Becca trusted my creative vision when I had an idea for the floor plan that we had never seen before in photos of the Reception space, and she gave me a lot of creative freedom on the day of the Wedding in order to execute her desires. She had a vision, and I saw it. Not from exact photos of what she was looking for, but from listening to her and her preferences. Becca trusted me and my team on the day of her Wedding to bring that vision to life flawlessly so that she and Michael could actually relax and enjoy their Wedding day, and that’s exactly what they did! We were all beyond thrilled with the results of how all of that hard work and planning came together to create an unforgettable day! I’m so thankful for Brides like Becca and even more honored to have been a part of Becca & Michael's special day!
